UPDATED BIWEEKLY

'But Joe, does that mean twice a week, or once every two weeks?'

You will know when I know.

Adam

I used a standard lens today because, following feedback from Hugh, I wanted to try and standardize the images with a set of rules and the wide angle was making them look a bit unstructured. I also de-saturated the image (as I have the others) to create a uniform colour theme.

I need to go back to Adam's to photograph his shelves following a set of rules.

1.) Landscape format
2.) Set focal distance (as close as possible)
3.) One image of the whole shelf space followed by one focusing on the area that most attracts me
4.) Natural daylight, as lighting

love what you are doing now. seems to be more focused.. where as I'm getting more random.. surely thats not good. I voted for the biggest hoping it'll be how many shelves you take picture of. tee hee
3 is the best number cos it's magic... or 5 and 8 are always lucky! (cos 8- 5 is 3 lol) I know I'm a loser....

Are you doing random people. would be cool to do connected people maybe? studying same subject or same fav band or something.. so there is a link even if you don't see it in the images.

I agree with Helen the images before seemed to lack a direction although all were very well shot. I now feel you have a direction and it appears to be working well.

that is HAN SOLO aka HARRISON FORD by by the way. echoing the thoughts above, a more focused approach definately works for this.
